Strange

"Strange"
I actually made this at the tail end of January, but I didn't do anything with it. It sat in a folder in my Pictures file untouched. I made it using a picture I took of leftover chicken on a pan covering in tin foil. I noticed it today and thought it might make an interesting Shadowbox...

Hurricane

Well, I guess this one is kind of obvious. At this time of year we think about these things a lot. And of course, this year, Hurricane season is on the mind of the entire country.

Damaged

"Damaged"
I'm not really sure what i was going for here. That's an old run down building in Southport, NC, and a fountain that's in front of a completely different building somewhere else and a lamp post that's in the parking lot that a bird happened to sit down on. The bird is pecking at a small dangling board with an electrical outlet in the center. The board and outlet are really hanging like that. The building has been boarded up for several years.

I took a picture of the flowers in our front garden very... er... badly. They came out fuzzy. So, here's "Hazy Vision", born from my not always so good photography.
