Here's the thing....

Okay, so I seriously considered pulling the plug on most of this site. Traffic has ground nearly to a halt after years of plenty of it so I was feeling that maybe the age of bpgisme.com is coming to an end. Nathan came forward after I mentioned this to him, however, and he told me not to get rid of it. So, I took a break from it for a little while to reflect, and though some things may still end up abandoned, for instance, the family pages, the fiction section, and possibly the art and photography section will have to be updated as I find the time and may seem abandoned, (I take way too many photos to put up with any regularity.) I will still try to keep the site updated as often as I can. My weblog gets the most attention from me, followed closely by the Orphic Endeavors page. (I also briefly considered abandoning Orphic Endeavors, but the music bug is already making me itch again...) So, in the interest of my sanity and a slight sense of showmanship ("Step right up! SEE the fat lady perform feats of amazingly bad typing skills and poor punctuation BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES!") I will continue to work on this place as often as I can and keep it going.

One thing I will probably be talking about more than anything else will be URU Live. I've been waiting for this for three years, so now that it's open, expect me to be busy solving puzzles and exploring in the mysterious Cyan worlds. Though most of the time in URU Live I see a lot of this:

If you are a GameTap user or a Myst/Uru fan, come check out bpgisme's Bevin. There's a known bug that prevents it from showing as a public location half the time, but the other half you can find it in the Nexus. My user name is bpgisme so if you can figure out how to get a message to my KI (something I don't have a clue how to do) you can leave me a message, or just leave me some graffiti on my imager in bpgisme's Bevin I could share the book with you so you can get to it. They say they're going to let users customize their own locations and ages and such eventually so maybe one day you'll go to my bevin and find Orphic Endeavors music playing and bpgisme art on the walls. We'll see. That would be really neat!

Anyway, again, sorry there hasn't been much new content the end of this year. Hopefully things will pick up again in 2007.

Thanks for stopping by!
