Rock'n'Roll Comics
In early 1993 Jay Allen Sanford of Revolutionary Comics hired Maxwell to do the penciling for the #62 issue of Rock'n'Roll comics featuring Elton John.
He got the entire job done on time and the comics were sold, but Maxwell was never paid for his work.
He had been hired years before by Todd Loren to pencil the last story in the Def Leppard issue (Rock'n'Roll #6) which we'll get scanned and put up here on the website as soon as possible. He was hired based on photocopies of a sample page featuring Metallica and went on to pencil a story on Yes which was used in one of the British Invasion issues.
Maxwell's other published comic work includes penciling a comic strip written by Wendell Simpson titled "Kalahari Sam" for the Central Florida Advocate. We'll get some of those scanned and put up here soon as well.
