Bonnie Phillips Gardiner

bpgisme

Bonnie Phillips Gardiner is an artist, musician, comic creator, and writer. She sketches with pencil, charcoil and ink, but mostly uses her computer to create her work. She is a avid photographer and amature filmmaker, using her camera and computer to create music videos for her band, Orphic Endeavors. She uses sounds both computer generated and recorded to create her music which is cinematic in style. So far her music has been used in several productions, including a documentary and short film. She is about to begin work on turning one of her scripts into a recorded radio-type show, and her music is about to be used in her husband's short film, "So you Wanna Buy a Car?", and her tune "Walking" in Greg Loon's film, "The Walk" .

Bpgisme.com began as her hobby website. (The name "bpgisme" stands for "B" - Bonnie, "P" - Phillips, "G" - Gardiner, "IS" is, "ME" me. It's er... not really proper English, I don't think, but bpg-am-I just isn't as cool.... And it doesn't rhyme!)

Maxwell Gardiner

Max

Maxwell Ryan Gardiner is only seven years old. He is severely Autistic and cannot talk, eat with a spoon, or use the potty. He is going to a special class for Autistic children with only a handful of other kids. He is beginning to learn sign language (just a couple of words) and is trying hard to learn to do things for himself. He still refuses to wear clothes at home, but will when his OT is coming to see him or when we are expecting company. He bangs his head when he's upset, screams at the top of his lungs when he's happy, and absolutely adores music and movie credits. He is an angel and a little devil at the same time. He is very destructive, but is happiest when lining up toy cars, putting together simple puzzles, or tearing out yellow pages in the phone book. He is very loving and loves to be cuddled and kissed.

There is no way to know if he will ever talk, but we will be happy when he can just learn to communicate.
